Hellloooo Pandora!! Moxxi here, being annoying again!

Putting this out there one last time as the voting ends September 25th! The top 5 in each group will move on to the finals. (I think I calculated at being around 8th or 9th place currently) I’m sitting at 152 votes, which is 150 more than I expected to get! Want to help me get to 200? I want to see if I can get any closer to the top 5, and they’re all sitting comfy at 200+ votes.

Impromptu photoshoots are the best! Gammakitten and myself as Lilith and Moxxi while we took a little break from Community Day to move my car closer.

This is truly heartwarming. You might recall a story earlier in the year, which told the story of a Borderlands fan called Michael John Mamaril who lost his battle with cancer. His friend Carlo contacted Gearbox and told them Michael’s story, and not only did the developers produce a eulogy read by Claptrap in memory of Michael, they also promised to include him as an NPC in Borderlands 2.

Yesterday, at Gearbox’s Community Day 2012 in Dallas, Texas, one audience member in the Borderlands 2 panel asked why the company goes out of its way for its dedicated fans, referring to Michael’s case as well as the Claptrap marriage proposal. In the response that followed, Gearbox detailed that Michael’s NPC can be found in Sanctuary, and each time you meet him, he’ll give you loot of blue rarity or higher. Meeting him will also award you the achievement titled “Tribute to a Vault Hunter”. Michael will be forever immortalised in the game.

No one can say Gearbox Software doesn’t actually care for it’s fans… This company and it’s employees are truly doing it for the fans and the love of gaming.
Randy Pitchford was so choked up speaking about Michael, it was one of the many times I was moved to tears yesterday.

So my lineup looks like this:
Preview Night: Sam
Thursday: Moxxi
Friday: DCUO Harley
Saturday: Sam Byrne
Sunday: Classic Harley?

I still need to finish Sam, fix up Moxxi (dirty up jacket, fix hat, restyle wig, find my fake eyelashes, remake the collar) remake my hammer and collar for Harley, make a cork for my gun… I think that’s it. And help Tora make Lilith if she so desires :)

I really like this one and the other two I found with it. The lighting gives a real “arena” feel to it. Which is perfect for Moxxi.

I might make a photoset later and post all of the pictures I found hiding in my cosplay folders. Still debating putting them on DA.
